PLS 500 Portable Language and Assistive Listening System

The PLS 500 Portable Language System provides the ability to perform simultaneous language interpretation of up to three languages via a wireless transmission system.

The PLS 500 system is easy to use, portable, and versatile!

The operator speaks into a microphone or headset connected to the LT700 Portable Display Transmitter. Participants listen to the interpreter with the PR500 Portable Display Receiver. 

The system is preconfigured and ready to use out of the box with five preset frequencies. There are fourteen additional frequencies available. (Availability is dependant on frequency “traffic” and/or regulations in your area.)

As a portable system, the PLS 500 is ideal for applications for which an operator is required to work at multiple locations. For example, this might be a courtroom interpreter who works at various courthouses or different courtrooms within the same building.

Interpreters and participants have the freedom to move about while using the PLS 500 system and are restricted only by the 100 foot transmission radius. 

The PLS 500 portable transmitters and receivers will operate with alkaline or rechargeable NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries. Storage and charging cases are available. 

The PLS 500 system can integrate with existing systems and is also available for larger areas of up to 3000 feet. Please contact us directly to confirm which products best fit your needs.
