PR500 Portable Display Receiver
The PR500 Portable Display Receiver may be worn by participants requiring language interpretation.
The interpreter speaks into a headset or microphone plugged into the PT500 Portable Display Transmitter. The PT500 Portable Display Transmitter wirelessly transmits the interpreter's voice to the PR500 Portable Display Receiver.
The participant simply plugs an earphone or headphones into the PR500 Portable Display Receiver to listen to the interpreter's voice.
Features of the PR500 Portable Display Receiver
- Preconfigured and ready to use out of the box with five preset frequencies
- 14 additional frequencies available for advanced programming. Availability is dependant on frequency “traffic” and/or regulations in your area
- Scrolling channel up/down buttons for easy operation
- Seek function aids location of live channel
- Receives transmission from PT500 Portable Display Transmitter in range of up to 100 feet
- FCC approved 216MHz frequencies for simultaneous interpretation
- Accepts mono or stereo headphone/earphone jacks
- Visual display shows selected frequency channel, battery life indicator, and signal strength meter
- Operates with two disposable alkaline AA batteries, two NiMH rechargeable AA batteries, or AC power adapter
