CDSVAN Discussion Software

The CDSVAN discussion module allows easy and quick administration of all microphone units connected to the system.

Several different microphone modes and features are available to optimize the conference procedure:

• AUT/ MAN/ PRIO/ CHIPCARD

• 6 + 1 (CM) open microphones (adjustable)

• 2 active VIPs

• Individual equalization and recording of microphone units
  

• Easy integration of additional audio sources

• Speaking time and speaking time credit

• Network control

• Geographical microphone layouts

• Namehandling (Delegate Database)

• Access control via ChipCard or RFID Tag

Speaking time can be adjusted individually or globally for all delegates. The "speaking time credit" feature allows a countdown of speaking time, regardless of how many times a delegate switches on a unit. All speaking time can be adjusted in real-time during the conference.

In addition, microphone control software is available, allowing for easy design of geographic layouts and efficient name administration for conferences.

The integrated individual geographical microphone switchboard editor allows the operator to make adjustments.

The ChipCard mode allows only delegates equipped with a ChipCard access to a microphone unit.

Up to six delegates and one chairman can be online simultaneously. Additional VIP functions for selected delegates are also available.

Each microphone unit can be adjusted individually to the room acoustics, e.g. with a full parametric equalizer.

The operator may make adjustments to each microphone unit. This improves the sound quality of the entire system without the need for or expense of additional hardware.
