CDSVAN Interpretation Software

CDSVAN interpretation software provides a new generation of conference technology.

CDSVAN is constructed in a modular way and is a flexible digital platform that can be adjusted to specific needs concerning graphical surfaces and functions. CDSVAN works with transmission protocols, which deliver audio quality above the Audio-CD standard (up to 24 BIT resolution / 48 kHz sampling rate).

The interpretation module allows for control of every interpreter console connected to the system. Integrated interpreter management provides centralized control of interpreter functions.

All connected interpreter consoles may be programmed with the CDSVAN interpretation software or directly on the interpreter consoles.

All outgoing channels are marked with the name of the language. The different channels can be activated or deactivated online to make adjustments for different conference situations. The interpreters choose between 3 outgoing (A, B, C) and up to 5 listening and/or relay channels. The interpreter’s language selection and activity can be monitored on the screen (e.g.: interpreter xy is active on channel 1 which represents the English language).

Abbreviations for the different languages are integrated into the interpretation software.
