John Kendrick

Managing Director

As Managing Director, John Kendrick oversees all of CSI. Through his leadership, CSI has earned the reputation for success for many high-profile events, including clients such as the White House and the Department of State. These events include G7, G8, and G20 Summits, the NATO Summit, the Nuclear Security Summit, and most recently the Leaders Summit on Climate. John also serves as the Executive Sponsor for Encore’s Black and African American Business Resource Group. In this role he helps lead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts for CSI and the family of companies under the Encore Brand. John has also served on panels, podcasts, and as a moderator on the subject of DE&I. A die-hard Indiana University Hoosier, John also supports the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks as well as the Washington Wizards. He also knows his way around a golf course. John lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Anna, daughter Emma, twin boys John and Jaden, and their dog Lily.

Michael E. Bier

Vice President, Operations and Technical Services

Michael is a highly accomplished 30-year veteran, specializing in the design and integration of audio-visual systems and conference technology.

With an education and background in electrical engineering, Michal brings an exceptional skill set for audio-visual design and technical expertise for installations and large-scale complex and one-of-a-kind, mission critical productions.

Recent installation projects include US Department of State, International Monetary Fund, Organization of American States, The World Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank.

Large-scale production projects include G-7, G-20, APEC, ASEAN, WTO and NATO as well as leader-level events for the Department of State and the White House.

David Astri

Sales Director

David Astri joined Conference Systems in 2008. He works directly with our dealers, consultants, interior designers, and architects, as it relates to product/systems sales.

Prior to joining Conference Systems, Dave worked in the Commercial / Professional AV industry for over 25 years. He held numerous sales and sales management positions. He also worked as a liaison to consultants and manufacturers.
